Random Thailand Phone Numbers
Get 1 to 10 made-up Thai mobile numbers in the +66-XX-XXX-XXXX format, each with a copy button. Random digits, not real lines. This tool makes fake Thai phone numbers. Pick how many you want, from 1 to 10, press the button, and each number comes out in the international mobile format Thailand actually uses, +66-XX-XXX-XXXX, on its own card with a copy button and the country label. The nine digits after the country code are random, so the numbers look right in a form or a spreadsheet but aren't tied to any real subscriber.
It exists for people who need placeholder Thai numbers: developers testing a signup form's phone validation, QA teams filling a CRM with sample contacts, and designers mocking up a Thai-language screen.
What the generator does and doesn't do
The only setting is the count. There is no choice of carrier, province or landline versus mobile; every result uses the mobile pattern. Each card shows the number, the word Thailand underneath, and a copy icon that puts the number on your clipboard and flashes a checkmark for a second. Press the button again for a new batch.
One honest limitation: the digits are filled in at random, so the first digit after +66 can be anything from 0 to 9. Real Thai mobile numbers start with 6, 8 or 9 (see below). If your validation checks the leading digit, some generated numbers will fail it, which is sometimes exactly what you want for testing the error path.
How Thai phone numbers are structured
Thailand's country code is 66 and its domestic trunk prefix is 0. Inside the country, a mobile number is 10 digits and starts with 06, 08 or 09, written as 08x-xxx-xxxx. To dial it from abroad you drop the 0 and add the country code, which gives the 9-digit form after +66 that this generator produces: +66 8x xxx xxxx.
| Type | Domestic format | International format | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Mobile | 06x-xxx-xxxx, 08x-xxx-xxxx, 09x-xxx-xxxx | +66 6x xxx xxxx, +66 8x xxx xxxx, +66 9x xxx xxxx | 10 digits domestic, 9 after +66. This is the pattern the tool uses. |
| Bangkok landline | 02-xxx-xxxx | +66 2 xxx xxxx | Area code 2 plus 7 digits |
| Provincial landline | 03x/04x/05x/07x-xxx-xxx | +66 3x xxx xxx and so on | Two-digit area code plus 6 digits, e.g. 053 for Chiang Mai, 076 for Phuket |
| Emergency | 191 (police), 1669 (ambulance), 199 (fire) | – | Short codes, never generated here |
Mobile numbers were extended from 9 to 10 digits in 2010, which is why older documents sometimes show 08-xxx-xxxx. The major carriers are AIS, TrueMove H and dtac (now merged with True), and since number portability arrived in Thailand the prefix no longer reliably tells you the carrier.
Sample output
A batch of five looks like this. All of these are made up.
| # | Generated number | Domestic equivalent |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | +66-81-234-5678 | 081-234-5678 |
| 2 | +66-92-847-1130 | 092-847-1130 |
| 3 | +66-64-505-9921 | 064-505-9921 |
| 4 | +66-89-316-7742 | 089-316-7742 |
| 5 | +66-95-120-3384 | 095-120-3384 |
Typical uses
- Form validation. Paste a generated number into a phone field to check that the +66 prefix and 9-digit length are accepted, and use a random one whose first digit is wrong to check the rejection message.
- Seed data. Ten numbers per press is enough to fill a demo customer list for a Thai market without copying anyone's real number.
- Mockups and screenshots. A realistic-looking number on a contact card reads better than 000-000-0000.
- Localization checks. Compare how your app displays +66 numbers against the Indonesia or India formats, which have different lengths and groupings.
Other countries in Southeast Asia and beyond have their own pages: Australia, the UAE, Turkey, the UK and the US (which lets you pick a state). See all phone number generators for the full list.
Frequently asked questions
- Are these real Thai phone numbers?
No. The country code and format are real, but the nine digits after +66 are random. A generated number may happen to match a live line by chance, so never call, text or message one.
- Can I use a generated number to receive an SMS or OTP?
No. The tool makes strings of digits, not working phone lines. It cannot receive messages or verification codes. Use it only where you need placeholder data.
- Why do some numbers start with a digit Thai mobiles don't use?
The generator fills every X with a random digit. Real Thai mobile numbers begin with 6, 8 or 9 after the country code, but the tool does not restrict the first digit. Regenerate if you need one that passes a strict prefix check.
- Does it generate Bangkok or provincial landlines?
No. Every result uses the 9-digit mobile pattern. Landlines in Thailand are shorter (area code 2 plus 7 digits for Bangkok, two-digit code plus 6 digits elsewhere) and are not produced here.
- How many numbers can I generate at once?
Between 1 and 10 per press. Press the button again for another batch.
