Random Vietnam Phone Numbers
Get 1 to 10 random Vietnamese numbers in +84-XX-XXX-XXXX format, each with a copy button. Real country code and length, random digits. This page generates 1 to 10 random Vietnam phone numbers in the format +84-XX-XXX-XXXX: the real country code followed by nine random digits, which is the length of every Vietnamese mobile number since the 2018 renumbering. Each number comes on a card with a copy button and "Vietnam" as its label. They're placeholders for forms, test data, mockups and fiction, not working numbers.
Using the generator
Set the count (1 to 10, default 5) and press Generate Phone Number. Copy any single result with the icon on its card, or run it again for a new set. There are no carrier or region options; every number uses +84 and nine digits.
How Vietnamese numbers work
Vietnam's country code is +84 and the domestic trunk prefix is 0. In September 2018 all mobile numbers were shortened to ten digits domestically (0 plus nine digits), which is why a number written internationally is +84 plus nine digits, exactly what this tool produces. The first two digits after the trunk zero tell you the carrier the block was issued to:
| Carrier | Mobile prefixes (domestic) |
|---|---|
| Viettel | 032, 033, 034, 035, 036, 037, 038, 039, 086, 096, 097, 098 |
| VinaPhone | 081, 082, 083, 084, 085, 088, 091, 094 |
| MobiFone | 070, 076, 077, 078, 079, 089, 090, 093 |
| Vietnamobile | 052, 056, 058, 092 |
| Gmobile | 059, 099 |
Landlines start with 02 followed by a province code: 024 is Hanoi, 028 is Ho Chi Minh City, 0236 is Da Nang, 0225 is Hai Phong. A Vietnamese mobile number is usually written 0912 345 678 at home and +84 912 345 678 abroad. This generator writes it with hyphens as +84-91-234-5678, which works in most phone fields once the hyphens are removed.
What's real and what's random
The country code and the nine-digit length are correct for every result. The digits themselves are random, including the first two, so a generated number may begin with a prefix that no carrier uses (or with 2, which would make it a landline pattern). The tool doesn't check against carrier allocations, and a number can coincide with a real subscriber by chance. If you need output that's obviously a mobile, generate a batch and keep the ones starting with 3, 5, 7, 8 or 9.
Common uses
- Form and API testing for apps that accept Vietnamese customers, where the validator only checks +84 and the digit count.
- Dummy contact lists for a demo, mixed with Indonesian or Indian numbers for a Southeast Asia dataset.
- UI mockups of profile screens, OTP prompts and delivery confirmations aimed at the Vietnamese market.
- Fiction set in Hanoi or Saigon where a character reads out a number that has to look right.
The same generator exists for the US, UK, Australia and Turkey; the full list is under all phone number generators.
Frequently asked questions
- Are the generated Vietnam numbers real?
No. The +84 code and nine-digit length match real Vietnamese mobile numbers, but the digits are random. Any number could be unassigned, unused, or someone's actual line, so don't call or text them.
- How many digits does a Vietnamese phone number have?
Mobile numbers are ten digits domestically (0 plus nine digits) since the 2018 renumbering, or +84 plus nine digits internationally. Landlines are 0 plus a two- or three-digit area code plus seven or eight digits, eleven digits in total.
- What do the first digits of a Vietnamese mobile number mean?
They identify the carrier the block was issued to: 03x, 086 and 09x for Viettel, 08x and 091/094 for VinaPhone, 07x, 089, 090 and 093 for MobiFone, 05x and 092 for Vietnamobile, and 059/099 for Gmobile. Since the generator picks these digits at random, not every result matches a live prefix.
- Can I generate a Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City landline?
Not with this tool; it only produces the mobile-style +84 plus nine digits. Hanoi landlines start 024 and Ho Chi Minh City landlines start 028.
- Can I copy all ten numbers at once?
Each card has its own copy button, so it's one number per click. Generate ten and copy them in turn.
