Clickbait Headline Generator

Describe your video, post or article, choose a tone and language, and get one, three or five AI-written clickbait titles with copy and share buttons.
0/300

The Clickbait Headline Generator writes attention-grabbing titles from a short description you type in. Tell it what the video, article or post is about, choose one of 20 tones and one of 25 languages, ask for 1, 3 or 5 headlines, and press Generate. The results come from an AI model, so every headline is written fresh for your topic rather than picked from a list. Use the buttons under the results to copy the set, download it as a text file, or share it to WhatsApp, X or Facebook.

Inputs

  • Topic description – a text box capped at 300 characters, with a live counter. This is the only required field. The more concrete the description, the better the headline; “a 10-minute video comparing three budget air fryers, the cheapest one won” beats “air fryer video”.
  • Number of headlines – 1, 3 or 5.
  • Language – English (default), Spanish, French, Chinese, Arabic, Russian, Portuguese, German, Japanese, Hindi, Bengali, Korean, Italian, Turkish, Dutch, Polish, Vietnamese, Indonesian, Thai, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Hebrew, Greek and Urdu, plus Other, which opens a box where you type any language name.
  • Tone – Professional (default), Casual, Friendly, Formal, Inspirational, Humorous, Innovative, Elegant, Persuasive, Empowering, Quirky, Luxurious, Minimalistic, Bold, Nostalgic, Provocative, Educational, Environmental, Whimsical, Serious, or Other with a free-text box.

Generation takes a few seconds while the request goes to the server. If the language or tone box is left as Other with nothing typed, the tool falls back to English and Professional. The output is text only; despite what some searches ask for, it does not make clickbait thumbnails or images.

What the headlines look like

The model leans on the standard clickbait patterns: a number (“7 Things…”), a curiosity gap (“…and Number 4 Will Surprise You”), a direct address (“You've Been Doing This Wrong”), a contrast (“I Tried the $20 One and the $200 One”) or a warning (“Stop Doing This Before…”). Tone changes the vocabulary more than the structure: Provocative and Bold push harder, Educational and Serious pull back to something closer to a normal headline, and Humorous adds a joke. Ask for 5 and you will usually get a spread across several of these patterns, which is the most useful way to run it.

Where people use the output

  • YouTube titles. The 100-character YouTube limit is the main constraint, so trim the longest results. Pair a Bold headline with a thumbnail that makes the same promise.
  • Blog posts and newsletters. Use the Educational or Professional tone for a title that is punchy without being embarrassing in a work inbox.
  • Instagram and TikTok captions. Casual or Quirky tone, 3 results, pick the shortest.
  • A/B testing. Generate 5 in the same tone and run them against each other; the differences between them are usually exactly the variables (number vs. question vs. warning) you want to test.
  • Non-English channels. The language option writes the headline natively in that language rather than translating an English one, which matters for idioms.

Writing clickbait that does not backfire

Platforms measure whether people stay after they click. A headline that over-promises gets the click and then a fast exit, and both YouTube and Google treat that as a signal against you. The practical rule: the headline can dramatize, but the content has to deliver the specific thing it names. “This One Setting Doubled My Battery Life” works if there is one setting and the gain was real; it hurts you if the video is a generic list of tips. Ask for a Serious or Educational tone when your audience is skeptical, and save Provocative for content that can back it up.

Frequently asked questions

Is the clickbait headline generator free?

Yes. There is no account or word limit beyond the 300-character description box, and you can generate as many sets as you like.

Can it make clickbait images or thumbnails?

No. It produces text headlines only. You can download them as a text file, but there is no image or thumbnail output.

How many headlines do I get per run?

You choose 1, 3 or 5 from the dropdown. Run it again for another set; results differ each time even with the same description.

Does it work in languages other than English?

Yes. Pick from 25 listed languages or choose Other and type any language name. The headline is written directly in that language.

Why did I get an error instead of headlines?

The headlines are generated on a server, so a slow connection or a busy moment can return an error. Check the description box is not empty and try again.
