Conclusion Generator
Paste your topic or essay text (up to 1,000 characters), choose a tone, and get an AI-written conclusion paragraph to copy or download. The Conclusion Generator writes a closing paragraph for a piece of writing you describe. Paste your topic, your thesis, or up to 1,000 characters of the essay itself into the box, pick a tone from the dropdown, and press Generate Conclusion. Our AI writing API returns a conclusion that restates the main idea and closes it out in the tone you chose. You can copy it, download it as a text file, or share it. It's built for the last ten minutes of an essay, report or speech, when the argument is done and you still need it to land.
What you can set
- The text. Anything from a five-word topic ("effects of remote work on productivity") to the full body of a short essay. The box accepts 1,000 characters and shows a running count. The more of your actual argument you include, the more the conclusion will echo your points instead of generic ones.
- The tone. Twenty presets: Formal, Professional, Casual, Friendly, Inspirational, Humorous, Innovative, Elegant, Persuasive, Empowering, Quirky, Luxurious, Minimalistic, Bold, Nostalgic, Provocative, Educational, Environmental, Whimsical and Serious. Choosing Other opens a text field where you can type your own, such as "reflective" or "for a fifth-grade audience". If you leave that field empty it falls back to Formal.
Generation takes a few seconds. If the API can't be reached you'll see an error message instead of a result; try again after a moment.
What comes back
A single conclusion paragraph under a "Conclusion" heading. The copy button puts the text on your clipboard, the download button saves it as a .txt file, and the share icons post it to WhatsApp, X or Facebook. The output is not saved on our side, so if you want to compare versions, copy each one before regenerating. Running the same input with two different tones is the fastest way to see what the tone setting actually changes: Persuasive ends with a call to action, Educational summarizes takeaways, Casual drops the academic register.
Using it well
Treat the result as a first draft of your ending, not the ending itself. A conclusion the reader trusts refers to specific points from the body, so paste the sentences that carry your argument rather than just the title. Read the output against your essay and cut anything it invented. Watch for the two habits AI conclusions share with weak human ones: starting with "In conclusion," and introducing a brand-new claim in the last paragraph. If either shows up, edit it out. For school work, check your institution's policy on AI assistance before submitting anything generated here.
What a good conclusion does
Whether the tool writes it or you do, a conclusion paragraph generally has three moves, and the tone setting mostly changes how loudly each one is played:
| Move | What it does | Example (topic: remote work) |
|---|---|---|
| Restate the thesis in new words | Reminds the reader what you argued without repeating the introduction verbatim. | "The evidence points one way: flexible location, paired with clear goals, raises output rather than lowering it." |
| Pull the threads together | Shows how the body's points combine, in one or two sentences. | "Fewer interruptions, shorter commutes and wider hiring pools each add a little, and together they add a lot." |
| Close with significance | Says why it matters, or what should happen next. This is where Persuasive, Inspirational and Bold tones differ most. | "Companies that treat remote work as a perk to be rationed will lose people to the ones that treat it as a way of working." |
For a concluding sentence rather than a whole paragraph, generate the paragraph and keep the last line; the closing-significance sentence usually stands on its own.

Frequently asked questions
- Is the conclusion generator free?
Yes. There is no account, sign-up or word limit beyond the 1,000-character input box, and you can generate as many times as you like.
- Can I paste my whole essay?
Up to 1,000 characters, which is roughly 150 to 180 words. For a longer essay, paste the thesis plus the topic sentence of each body paragraph; that gives the generator the structure it needs.
- Does it write a conclusion sentence or a full paragraph?
A full paragraph. If you only need a concluding sentence, use the final sentence of the output, which is usually the one that states the significance.
- Which tone should I use for an academic essay?
Formal or Serious for most academic work; Educational if the essay explains rather than argues; Persuasive for an argumentative essay where the conclusion should push the reader toward a position.
- Will teachers or plagiarism checkers flag it?
Plagiarism checkers compare against existing text and the output is newly generated, but AI-detection tools may flag it, and many schools have rules about AI use. Edit the draft in your own words and follow your institution's policy.
