Random Address in Los Angeles
Get 1 to 10 sample Los Angeles addresses with street, city, CA and a 900xx or 901xx ZIP, each with a copy button. The Random Address in Los Angeles generator gives you 1 to 10 addresses in standard US format, all in the city of Los Angeles with a 900xx or 901xx ZIP code, each on a card with a copy button. The street numbers and names are generic, so the lines look right for a form or a mockup but don't point to a real house. The list has 1,000 entries, and each press shuffles it and takes the first few.
How to use it
Set the number of addresses (1 to 10; the default is 3), press the button, and copy any result with the icon on its card. Generate again for a fresh batch. There are no neighborhood or ZIP filters, and every line ends in "Los Angeles, CA".
What an address looks like
Every entry follows the same one-line pattern, the way you'd type it into a shipping form:
- 3429 Cherry St., Los Angeles, CA 90013
- 9845 Sunset St., Los Angeles, CA 90171
- 455 Park St., Los Angeles, CA 90006
That's house number, street name with a suffix (St., Ave., etc.), city, the two-letter state code and a five-digit ZIP. Street names are drawn from a short generic pool (Main, Oak, Pine, 5th, Sunset and so on), so you'll see the same names repeated with different numbers and ZIPs. If you need addresses that are more varied by street, the Random US Address Generator pulls from a much larger national pool.
Los Angeles ZIP codes, briefly
The USPS assigns the 900 and 901 prefixes to the city of Los Angeles. The 900xx block (90001 through 90084, plus a few higher ones) covers the residential and business neighborhoods: 90012 is downtown and Chinatown, 90028 is Hollywood, 90024 is Westwood and UCLA, 90049 is Brentwood, 90066 is Mar Vista, 90291 belongs to Venice. Most 901xx codes are assigned to post office boxes and large mail recipients rather than streets. This generator picks from both ranges, so a result like 90158 is a valid LA ZIP prefix even though it isn't a neighborhood you'd walk through. Surrounding cities have their own codes and aren't in the list: Beverly Hills is 90210 through 90212, Santa Monica is 904xx, Pasadena is 911xx and Long Beach is 908xx.
Where sample LA addresses are useful
- Checkout and shipping form tests for a store that ships to California, where the validator checks the state code and ZIP length.
- Demo customer records in a CRM or delivery app, mixed with New York or Illinois addresses for a multi-city dataset.
- Screenplay and novel props: a business card or a letter needs an address that reads as LA without naming a real family's home.
- Map and geocoding demos, with the understanding that a generic street may not resolve to a point.
- Privacy placeholders when you need to blank a real address in a screenshot.
Other California-adjacent and West Coast pages include the Random Oregon Address and Random Address in Colorado generators; the full set is under all address & postal code generators.
Frequently asked questions
- Are these real Los Angeles addresses?
They're realistic, not verified. The city, state and ZIP ranges are real Los Angeles ones, but the street numbers and generic street names aren't checked against USPS delivery data, so most won't match an actual building. Don't ship anything to them.
- Can it generate a Beverly Hills address?
No. Every entry is in the city of Los Angeles proper with a 900xx or 901xx ZIP. Beverly Hills (90210 to 90212), Santa Monica, Pasadena and other neighboring cities aren't included.
- What format are the addresses in?
One line: street number and name, then city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP, for example 3287 Main St., Los Angeles, CA 90130. That's the layout most US forms and shipping labels expect.
- How many addresses are in the pool?
1,000. Each press shuffles them and shows the number you asked for, up to 10, so repeats across presses are possible but rare.
- Can I pick a specific ZIP code or neighborhood?
Not on this page. Generate a batch and keep the ones whose ZIP matches the area you want; the ZIP notes above list a few common ones.
