Random Address in Tennessee

Get fictional Tennessee street addresses with city and ZIP code, drawn from 195 Nashville-area addresses, each with a copy button.

This tool gives you random Tennessee addresses in the usual one-line US form: house number and street, city, "TN" and a five-digit ZIP code, for example "2205 Lindell Avenue, Nashville TN 37204". It draws from a list of 195 fictional addresses, and every one of them is in the Nashville metro area: 179 in Nashville itself and the rest in Brentwood, Goodlettsville, Nolensville, Ashland City and Mount Juliet. Each result card has a copy button.

That geographic spread is worth stating up front. If you need an address in Knoxville, Memphis or Chattanooga, this list will not give you one. What it does give you is a realistic Middle Tennessee address with a genuine 372xx or 370xx ZIP code, which is what most people testing a form or filling in a fictional profile actually need.

What you can set and what comes back

The single input is the number of addresses, from 1 to 15. Each press returns that many different lines; press again for a new set. There is no filter by city or ZIP code. The street names are the kind you find in Nashville subdivisions (Bending Creek Drive, Rural Hill Court, Burkitt Place Drive, West Trinity Lane), and the house numbers are plausible for those streets, but the combinations are invented so that no line points to a real household.

The most common ZIPs in the list are 37211 (south Nashville, 29 addresses), 37013 (Antioch, 24), and 37207, 37221, 37218, 37214, 37209 and 37210 with around ten each. Twenty-nine ZIP codes appear in total.

Ways people use it

  • Address validation testing. The city, state and ZIP on every line agree with each other, so a validator that cross-checks them should accept the whole batch. Fifteen at a time is enough to exercise a form quickly.
  • Placeholder profiles. Demo accounts, CRM seed data and mock shipping records that need a believable Tennessee home address.
  • Writing set in Nashville. A street in Antioch or Bordeaux gives a scene a specific part of town without naming a real resident's house.
  • Teaching US address format. The lines show the standard order (number, street, city, state abbreviation, ZIP) with real Tennessee values.

How Tennessee addresses and ZIP codes are structured

  • ZIP ranges. Tennessee ZIP codes run from 370 to 385. Nashville and Davidson County are 372xx; the surrounding counties (Williamson, Sumner, Wilson, Cheatham) are 370xx and 371xx, which is why Brentwood is 37027 and Nolensville is 37135. Knoxville is 379xx, Chattanooga is 374xx, and Memphis is 380xx and 381xx. If a line from this tool shows 372xx, it is Nashville proper.
  • Street naming. Nashville uses ordinary suffixes (Avenue, Drive, Lane, Court, Place) and directional prefixes on some downtown streets (West Trinity Lane, West End Avenue). Many suburban streets are named for the subdivision ("Burkitt Place Drive" is in the Burkitt Place development).
  • Postal form. USPS prefers two lines in capitals with no punctuation: "2205 LINDELL AVE" then "NASHVILLE TN 37204". The generator's single line with a comma after the street is the form most online forms accept.
  • Area codes. Nashville numbers use 615 and 629, Memphis uses 901, Knoxville 865, Chattanooga 423, if you are assembling a full fictional profile.

Frequently asked questions

Are these real addresses in Tennessee?

No. The cities and ZIP codes are real and match each other, but the house number and street combinations are fictional. They are safe for testing and mock-ups and useless for mail or verification.

Can I get a random address in Knoxville or Memphis?

Not from this tool. All 195 addresses in the list are in Nashville or its neighboring towns (Brentwood, Goodlettsville, Nolensville, Ashland City and Mount Juliet).

Can I get a random address in Nashville specifically?

Yes, in practice. 179 of the 195 addresses are in Nashville, so most results will be Nashville lines. There is no city filter, so skip the occasional Brentwood or Goodlettsville result if you need Nashville only.

How many Tennessee addresses can I generate at once?

From 1 to 15 per press, with no duplicates within a batch. Press again for a new set.
