The Random Female Celebrity Generator pulls from the 251 women in our celebrity dataset, which covers actors, singers, models, authors, athletes, politicians, royals and business figures. It's the female-only cut of the Random Celebrity Generator, for when a game or prompt calls for a woman specifically.

The one option: category

The dropdown has five choices. "Random" draws from all 251 women. The other four narrow the pool:

• Movies & Entertainment (114 women): models, singers, authors, actors, chefs, comedians and a couple of directors and rock musicians.
• Sports & Athletics (62): mostly tennis players and Olympians, plus wrestlers, MMA fighters, racing drivers and one boxer.
• Politics (45): US Democrats and Republicans, royals from several monarchies, and two presidents.
• Business (30): fashion designers, lawyers, producers, executives and billionaires.

Each press returns exactly one person. There is no "number of results" field and no way to exclude someone you've already seen, so for a longer list just keep clicking.

What the card shows

Every result card has a headshot (from our own image store, not hotlinked), the name, and the subcategory such as Model, Tennis or Royal. Below that: net worth, date of birth, nationality and place of birth. A few older or less-documented entries have a blank height field in the data, but the fields on the card are filled for everyone in the list.

Ways people use it

• Charades and "Who am I?" games. The card gives enough clues (profession, country, birth decade) that a host can read hints one at a time.
• Drawing and impression practice. Illustrators and impressionists use random picks to avoid always choosing the same three faces.
• Trivia writing. The net worth and birthplace fields are the kind of detail that makes a decent pub-quiz question. If the answer needs to be a singer, the Random Singer Generator is the narrower tool.
• Writing prompts. "Write a scene where this person is stuck in an elevator" works better when the person is chosen for you.

Who is in the list

The 251 women skew toward people who have appeared on published wealth rankings, which is why the Business and Politics groups are fuller than you might expect and why the Movies & Entertainment group has 46 models. The Politics group is US-heavy but includes royals such as members of the British, Spanish and Jordanian royal families. Net worth figures are estimates captured when the dataset was built and are not updated live, so treat them as rough.
