Random YouTuber Generator

Enter a number from 1 to 5, press the button, and the Random YouTuber Generator picks that many channels from a list of YouTube's 100 most-subscribed channels. Each result shows the channel's avatar and name, and the name links straight to the channel on YouTube. It's a quick way to settle "what should we watch," to pick a creator for a challenge or reaction video, or to hand a student a real channel to analyze.

What you can set

There is one field: how many channels you want, between 1 and 5. The default is 3. The list is shuffled on every press, so the same channel can come up again on the next run, and there is no filter for country, language or content type.

What the results look like

Each card has the channel's profile image, hosted on our own storage, and the channel name as a link to youtube.com. Names are shown as they appear on YouTube, including non-Latin ones such as the Russian-language Masha and the Bear channel. The card doesn't show subscriber counts or upload counts, which change too quickly to keep accurate in a static list.

Who is in the list

The 100 entries were taken from the ranking of most-subscribed YouTube channels. That ranking is dominated by media companies rather than individual creators, so be ready for that: you'll see T-Series, SET India, Sony SAB, Zee TV, Colors TV and other Indian television and music labels; children's channels such as Cocomelon, Kids Diana Show, Like Nastya, Vlad and Niki and ChuChu TV; and music-artist channels for BLACKPINK, BANGTANTV, Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, Katy Perry, Shakira, Marshmello and Alan Walker. The individual YouTubers people usually mean by the word are there too: MrBeast, PewDiePie, Dude Perfect, JuegaGerman, Felipe Neto, Luisito Comunica, Kimberly Loaiza, Badabun and 5-Minute Crafts, among others.

Roughly a third of the list is Indian, reflecting how the top-100 actually looks, with the rest split between the US, Latin America, Korea, Russia and Brazil. If you want a creator picker that leans toward personalities rather than networks, the Random Celebrity Generator or Random Famous Person Generator may fit better.

• Reaction and "rate the channel" videos. Pull five channels and react to the newest upload on each without picking favorites.
• Media studies assignments. Assigning each student a random top-100 channel to analyze avoids everyone choosing MrBeast.
• Language exposure. Because the list spans Hindi, Spanish, Portuguese, Korean and Russian channels, language learners use it to find native-language content with big back catalogs.
