Random Indonesia Address Generator

Set a number between 1 and 15, press Generate Address, and you get that many random Indonesian addresses, one per card, each with a copy button. A line has five parts: a street address, a city, a province, a five-digit postal code and the word Indonesia. The provinces are Indonesia's real ones and the postal code has the correct five-digit shape; the street and city are generated, so none of the results is a real location.

What the generator produces

A typical result:

• Street line – a number, then a first name or a color word, then an English street type (Extension, Viaduct, Station, Wall, Alley). This part is the least Indonesian-looking piece of the output; a real address would read Jl. Sudirman No. 12. See the format notes below if you need to rewrite it.
• City – often a real Indonesian city or town drawn from a list of several hundred (Sinjai, Airmadidi, Ampana, Amurang, Bitung, Bogor), sometimes a made-up English-style name such as Eloiseland or Laneyborough. Generate a few extra and keep the ones with real names if that matters.
• Province – one of 34 real provinces, spelled the Indonesian way: Bali, Banten, Bangka Belitung, Jawa Barat, Jawa Timur, Kalimantan Selatan, Sulawesi Utara, Papua and so on.
• Postal code – five random digits. The format is right, but the code is not matched to the province beside it.

The only control is the count per run. There is no province or city filter.

Where a fake Indonesian address helps

• Form and checkout testing. Indonesian e-commerce forms typically ask for province, city, district and a five-digit kode pos. The generated lines give you plausible values for the province and postal-code fields without touching a real customer's data.
• Seeding test databases. Fifteen addresses per click, a few clicks, and you have a table with provinces spread across Sumatra, Java, Kalimantan, Sulawesi and Papua rather than the same Jakarta line repeated.
• Mockups and demo accounts. A shipping label reading Banten 88528 looks regional in a screenshot.
• Placeholder for sign-ups. When a site insists on an address to show you a price, a generated one fills the box.

How Indonesian addresses are actually written

A real address in Indonesia starts with the street and goes outward:

Jl. is short for Jalan (street) and No. introduces the building number. Urban addresses often add the neighborhood unit (RT) and community unit (RW), then the village or urban ward (Kelurahan, abbreviated Kel. or Desa in rural areas) and the district (Kecamatan, Kec.). The city or regency (Kota or Kabupaten) comes next with the postal code, and the province is usually left off because the city implies it. Postal codes have five digits: the first digit marks a broad region (1 for Jakarta, 4 for West Java, 5 for Central Java and Yogyakarta, 6 for East Java, 8 for Bali and Nusa Tenggara, 9 for Sulawesi, Maluku and Papua), and the following digits narrow to a district and village. The generator does not apply that rule, so a Bali address here may carry a code that would really belong in Sumatra.
